The setting

Tobermory Princess Hotel sits on Little Tub Harbour in the heart of Tobermory village. Our event space, dining room, and outdoor patio all face the harbour and Georgian Bay. The views are genuinely spectacular at any time of year — but a summer sunset over the water, with the lights of the village reflected in the harbour, is unforgettable.

•  Pharos Restaurant dining room: private or semi-private dining for smaller groups

•  Harbour patio: outdoor receptions and cocktail events

•  On-site hotel rooms for out-of-town guests: expanding to 40 Guest rooms

Catering

All event catering is handled by our own kitchen team at Pharos Restaurant. We offer set menus and customised options for all budgets and dietary requirements. Our specialities include Georgian Bay whitefish, traditional Mediterranean dishes, and contemporary Canadian cuisine. We do not work with outside caterers — everything served at your event is prepared in-house and fresh.

Events we host

Weddings

A harbour-side wedding in Tobermory is something your guests will remember for the rest of their lives. We work with couples to plan ceremonies, receptions, and wedding weekends that make use of both the hotel's setting and the wider Tobermory environment. Hotel room blocks are available for your wedding party and guests.

Corporate meetings and retreats

Taking your team out of the office to a genuinely different environment makes for more productive and more memorable meetings. Tobermory is 3.5 hours from Toronto — far enough to feel like a real escape, close enough to be practical. We provide meeting space, meals, and accommodation, and the surrounding national park provides plenty of options for team activities.

Anniversary and milestone celebrations

Whether you are celebrating a 25th anniversary, a milestone birthday, or a family reunion, our events team can help you create a private dinner or multi-day celebration that uses the whole hotel. Tobermory Princess Hotel has been the scene of family celebrations since 1992 — some of our guests celebrate anniversaries here every year.

Christmas parties

A Christmas party at Tobermory Princess Hotel is a genuine escape from the usual office function. The Bruce Peninsula in November and December is quiet, beautiful, and a world away from the city. We offer private dining packages for groups throughout the autumn and winter season.
